Short movie

IA: What tools did you use? And how long did it take to complete?

The tools were pretty much the standard we use in our production. We used 3D Studio Max (although we also use Maya), After Effects and Photoshop.

IA: Will there be a sequel?

Kilowatt has already published "Bernard Bleu" and two more books in this series are pending release. We definitely see ourselves revisiting this world again though!

IA: Even if this story targets kids, it’s a universal message, something about differences and naïve friendship. Do you agree with that?

Oh of course! Most messages you would find in such stories for children are ones that adults could benefit from as well. Sometimes more so than the kids they are aimed at! That being said I would think that anyone above the age of eight would stop for a second to consider that. At least it looks pretty.

IA: Anything else?

Absolutely, a ton of thanks go out to everyone outside of MAKE that contributed to the project! In the end animation is just a component of the final piece. Everyone is listed below!
