Retrospective : Fin Ete - End of Summer

Patrick Harboun, Ronan Le Fur and Joaquim Montserrat are the three authors of "End of the Summer,” a short 3D animated film. With a extraordinary ambience, “End of the summer” delicately tells a story about a difficult subject: the loss of a loved one. Helped by an impressive technical realization, “End of the Summer” proves that another kind of movie, far away from the spectacular, can take life through digital Art.

Fin Ete - Short movie

Last year we interviewed the team of "end of summer" for IT'S ART Magazine #3 , today we will republish this interview and we will bring you some of their latest news.

IT' S ART: Can you introduce yourselves?

Patrick Harboun: I come from Luxembourg which I left to join Supinfocom in Valenciennes where I met Joaquim and Ronan. During our third year there we collaborated around the idea of Joaquim's film. And from there we started this adventure!

Ronan Le Fur: Before attending Supinfocom I had lost myself studying law. During law school I drew a lot and this has proven to be quite useful for me.

Joaquim Montserrat: I lived on Reunion Island until I was 18 years old before leaving to attend Supinfocom. I have worked a bit in advertising, videos game industry and for web agencies.
