When you find an artist, whose artwork seems to tell a story with each piece, even without words, and as a cohesive whole, it just feels cool, original and right. That’s the magic I look for. I feel completely honored to have worked on soundtracks for CG artwork by both of those artists you have mentioned. Those are two examples of artwork that via random searches and archeological internet digs enchantingly and brutally caught me off guard, not the other way around. It kind of kick-started this whole expedition into new territory.
IT'S ART. Can you speak about the artists you've chosen for The Darker Side Of Synaesthesia?
Justin Lassen : This time around I seemed to be more drawn to darker imagery and artists instead of the fairytale-esque ones I chose in the past two series. I wanted to show a different side to the series, and I hope I have accomplished that. I shall blurb about each of them below :
