Mythic Entertainment unveils a new cinematic trailer for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR).The new trailer brings the Age of Reckoning to life in stunning detail and showcases the ongoing conflict between the armies of Order and Destruction, the catalyst for WAR’s groundbreaking Realm vs. Realm gameplay.
Set against the backdrop of a city under siege, a devious Goblin Squig Herder, mutating Chaos Marauder, and deadly Dark Elf Sorceress lead the invading hordes of Destruction in the assault on the city of Altdorf. Rallying the forces of Order in defense of their capital are the noble High Elf Shadow Warrior, fiery Empire Bright Wizard, and stalwart Dwarf Engineer. To the victors go the spoils of war; to the defeated, utter annihilation.
Based on Games Workshop's epic tabletop fantasy war game, WAR features revolutionary Realm vs. Realm game play that will immerse players in a world of perpetual conflict for years to come. Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is scheduled to launch simultaneously in North America, Europe, and Oceania on September 18, 2008. Available for PC, WAR is rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB.
